This is an effective acne spot treatment for recurring acne or pesky hormonal acne/zits. I feel that this formula is slightly less intense than Mario Badescu's, but that works better for my sensitive skin. I still limit the usage to only when necessary as too frequent usage will dry out the skin. The price may be slightly on the high side compared to drugstore brands but the product's efficacy is unbeatable and it does last for a very long time.

really good and does its job. i get breakouts from small pimples to zits/cysts. after getting a breakout, i immediately apply some of this onto the breakout and the day after, the breakout reduces in size and redness. try this if you are looking for a good acne treatment to use on pesky breakouts.

On my second bottle now. Have been using it whenever a zit pops up. Before that, I was using it to treat my mild acne condition. Application to large surface area of the skin is not recommended especially if you are suffering from severe acne issues like cystic acne (based on my experience). It has extreme drying effects. Be sure to use an appropriate moisturizer before application. Use it when required ONLY! Stripping off half a star because of the price point.

You know the feeling when you try a new product and become a huge fan in seconds? Well, today I am going to talk about one such product. This is the Kate Somerville Exfolikate Intense Exfoliator which is one of the best-selling products from Kate Somerville. I was surprised to find that this was not reviewed on IMBB so far! Anyway, let me tell you about my love affair with this baby here!

My Experience with Kate Somerville ExfoliKate Intense Exfoliator:

Packaging: The Kate Somerville Exfolikate Intense Exfoliator comes in a standard white-colored tube packaging with a flip open cap, which I love. The details of the product are mentioned on the tube in orange colour which looks so pretty. The tube has a tiny opening which dispenses the product little at a time which is great for a product this pricey. The size I got is the 15 ml version because I wanted to try for myself first before I could splurge 100 dollars for the bigger tube!

Color and Smell: The color of the product in the tube is a beautiful forest green color with colorless scrub particles. The best way I can describe the smell of this baby – it smells like "Chyavanprash!” Please don’t laugh at me ladies, but if you have used this before, you’ll sure agree with me! It feels so funny to use an overpriced face product which smells like Chyavanprash :P!



Texture:  The texture of this exfoliator is like a mild cream with tiny scrubby particles. The particles are not very harsh or very mild, but just perfect for a good exfoliation. Also, when the product comes in contact with water, the scrubby particles do not melt away or dissolve, but remain scrubby until washed off with water. It does not lather away; exfoliates the face really well.



Quality: I have no words to express how awesome this product is! I am not exaggerating by any mean, ladies. This baby has changed my skin care game for life. After I exfoliate my face with this, the texture of my skin feels like a baby’s butt. The first time I exfoliated with this, I was shocked because my skin did not feel like mine. It felt so soft and smooth and polished. No wonder this baby costs a fortune, good things come at an equally good price tag!
