Theory of Micro-needle Therapy
Dermarolling is also known as micro-needling,
skin rolling or collagen induction therapy (CIT).
Derma Rollers are made of many high grade micro needles
which roll over
!#!amp!*! penetrate the skins upper surface painlessly.
Stretch Marks
Stretch marks occur when the skin tears during rapid periods of growth. Stretch mark appearance improvement is the number one
reason for buying a micro needle roller. Results are quick to show and because stretch marks tend to appear in fleshy areas of the body,
they are a very simple issue to treat. Thousands of people have already benefited from the very simple process and the results that you will achieve are permanent.
Acne Scars and Pitted scars
Acne scars have formed when the skin surface has been broken during severe acne outbreaks. Similar in appearance to pitted
scars they create a dimpled effect, usually found on the face. Gentle use of the micro needle roller effectively treats acne scars
and pitted scars to leave your skin looking even and healthy. Whilst care needs to be taken over which needle length to choose,
effective acne scar treatments leave your skin looking incredible.
Fine Lines and Wrinkles
in conjunction with anti wrinkle creams, moisturisers and other similar anti aging products.
Working on even the smallest of wrinkles, this device will roll back the years from the very first use.
Scar Reduction
Treating scars with a micro needle roller can see a huge improvement in the skin surface, regardless of the size or age of the scar.
Whilst complete scar removal on deep scars is unlikely, their appearance will certainly by improved massively.
If used in conjunction with other scar removal treatments involving creams or serums, you will see a massive boost to these products effectiveness.
Hair Loss Treatment
The micro needle roller itself cannot turn back the clock on hair loss or give you a full head of hair.
What it does is give the opportunity for specialist hair restoration products to work far more effectively..
The derma roller is meant to be used gently on the skin. When applied to the scalp, there is very minimal pain.
When applied to other areas of the skin, such as the face, first-time users report a prickling, slightly painful sensation.
However, most users adapt to this after a few applications and are able to continue using the derma roller without major issues
Does Derma Roller Work?
Clinical Evidence For Hair Loss/ Hair Regrowth
A number of clinical studies have already established the derma roller's effectiveness in reducing scars, wrinkles, stretch marks and
hyperpigmentation. Because the Dermaroller stimulates regeneration in the areas it is applied to, it can also work to stimulate hair re-growth
(in places where hair loss had occurred). Stimulating blood circulation is a proven way of stopping haor loss and encouraging
hair growth because it increases the supply if raw materials to the hair thus encouraging increaed growth.
Increased blood circulation in the scalp may also help reduce DHT levels in the scalp because the increased blood flow may help remove
more DHT from rhe hair papilla - proving there is less DHT in the blood than there is in the papilla it travels to and from.
The shaven scalp was prepared with betadine and normal saline. A dermaroller of 1.5 mm sized needles was rolled over the affected
areas of the scalp in a longitudinal, vertical, and diagonal directions until mild erythema was noted, which was considered as
the end point of the procedure. All patients were instructed not to apply Minoxidil on the day of procedure and to resume its application only 24 h after the Microneedling procedure.
Earlier and faster hair re?growth at 1 week noted in Microneedling treated group
